Important Points When Painting
Summer is the ideal season to color the house. If you’re bored with the color of your walls, and you are planning to whitewash in order to make your walls look cleaner or to change the atmosphere of your house, our recommendations will simplify your work.
First of all, remove all furniture from the room to be painted. Spread dust sheets over furniture that is too big to move. This will give you space to white wash and ensure your furniture doesn’t get splashed.
Paint applied to dirty or moist surfaces will not give the desired results. Clean the walls by sanding and making them suitable for painting. After the walls are dry, you can cover spalled areas using primer paint.
Start the painting process from the ceiling. You can paint the ceiling easily using a roller brush
After the corners and joint points of walls and ceiling are painted with a small brush, start painting the walls with a big roller brush. You may need to apply the paint as 2-3 coats to achieve the desired color. If you can’t do the job with a brush, try using a spray gun instead
