The structure which allows us to analyze colors is called a color wheel. Three color types are available in the color wheel: primary colors, secondary colors and complementary colors. You can create more harmonious designs by using adjoining and opposing colors in the color wheel together.
Primary colors consisting of yellow, blue and red cannot be created by mixing and all colors on earth originate from primary colors. By mixing primary colors in different ratios, you can achieve limitless tones of six colors within the sunlight.
Colors which can be created by mixing two primary colors are called Secondary colors. You can achieve special colors by using secondary colors at the tones of each one. But first let's see which color is created by mixing which colors:
Red+Yellow = Orange
Blue+Yellow = Green
Blue+Red = Purple
Complementary colors, opposing colors in the color wheel... In the color wheel, complements of red, blue and yellow are green, orange and purple, respectively. We want to remind you that you can create more balanced and attractive designs by using transverse colors together.
